Erika Deutsch Rotbart, Esq. is a principal in Deutsch Rotbart & Associates, P.A. Ms. Rotbart’s practice is exclusively focused on employment and labor law including, but not limited to the Florida Civil Rights Act of 1990, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, statutorily protected retaliation (Whistleblower, worker’s compensation retaliation and civil rights), Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, as well as complex contractual and litigation related employment issues. Ms. Rotbart handles both plaintiff and defense cases and prides herself on maintaining a boutique oriented practice by providing the highest degree of professional service to her clients. Ms. Rotbart is also a Licensed Certified Civil Court Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator and very much enjoys using her skills in the alternative dispute resolution arena.
Ms. Rotbart has been a guest lecturer and delivered addresses at various employment and litigation lawyer conferences, litigation training seminars, colleges and universities, and Continuing Legal Education programs for the Florida Bar, local bar affiliates, and private organizations. She has also presented numerous training programs for employers and their employees on policies, procedures and equal opportunity/civil rights in the workplace.
Ms. Rotbart is a Past President of the Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyer’s Association (FLNELA), an organization primarily focused on promoting and protecting employees’ rights in the workplace. She has previously held numerous board positions with FLNELA and has been active in the organization for several years. Ms. Rotbart has also been a board member of the Executive Council for the Florida Bar’s Employment and Labor Section.
